Professor Farley Quoted in New York Times Story on Apple's Frequent Trademark Oppositions

PIJIP Professor Christine Haight Farley was quoted in a recent New York Times story聽about Apple's filing of聽oppositions to聽trademark applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Apple has recently opposed 215 applications, far more than聽Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook or Google. Many of the opposed trademark applications聽involved聽images of apples and other fruits.
Prof. Farley stated聽that the scale of the company鈥檚 campaign amounts to 鈥渂ullying tactics, and they are unnecessary for Apple to protect the public from confusion."
