Dr. Ghufran A. Alqahtani successfully completed her S.J.D. degree at 澳门皇冠体育-官网 澳门皇冠体育 College of Law. Her dissertation titled, "Violence Against Women in the Name of Honor: the Case of Jordan." She extensively explored the concept of legal pluralism and it affects on gender-based violence against women.听 Dr. Alqahtani analyzed the practice of honor killing through different theories such as feminist legal theory and sociolegal feminist theory.
