Altheria Caldera is Senior Professorial Lecturer in the 澳门皇冠of Education at 澳门皇冠体育-官网. Her research and scholarship focus on ways educators can advance racial equity in schools. Specific areas of interest include language and literacy, Black girlhood, and equitable educational policies. She is a former middle school English/Language Arts/Reading teacher with twenty-five years of experience in secondary and post-secondary education. Altheria is a proud first-generation college graduate.
